PP vs PE

Advantages of polypropylene (PP):

Heat resistance: PP has high heat resistance and can withstand higher temperatures without deforming or releasing harmful substances.
Rigidity and impact resistance: PP water bottles have high rigidity and impact resistance, and are not easy to break or deform.
Good chemical corrosion resistance: PP can resist the erosion of many chemicals and is not easy to be corroded.
Sealing performance: PP has good sealing performance, which can effectively prevent water bottles from leaking.
Recyclability: PP material can be recycled and reused, which is conducive to environmental protection.

Advantages of polyethylene (PE):

Toughness and Durability: PE water bottle has good toughness and durability, not easy to break or deform.
Low cost: PE material is relatively cheap, and the manufacturing cost is relatively low.
Chemical stability: PE has high stability to general chemicals and is not easily corroded by chemical substances.
Good electrical insulation: PE has good electrical insulation properties and is suitable for electronic products or water bottles in charged environments.

Disadvantages of polypropylene (PP):

Relatively hard: PP is relatively hard compared to other materials, and may not be soft and comfortable enough.
Opacity: PP is usually opaque, making it impossible to see the liquid level inside the container.

Disadvantages of polyethylene (PE):

Low heat resistance: PE has poor heat resistance and is not suitable for storing high temperature liquids.
Low rigidity: Compared with other materials, PE is soft and may be easily deformed.
