When purchasing insulation cups, pay attention to four steps
Aug 06, 2023
According to the consumption tips of insulated cups issued by the State Administration for Market Regulation, when purchasing insulated cups, you can follow the four steps of "look", "smell", "touch" and "try":
"Look": The stainless steel cup body should comply with the requirements for stainless steel materials in GB 4806.9-2016 "National Food Safety Standards - Metal Materials and Products in Contact with Food", clearly indicating its material type and composition, or represented by Chinese standard grades or unified numerical codes, and cannot only indicate vague information such as "high-quality stainless steel" and "advanced stainless steel"; The sealing cover should be made of PP (polypropylene) material, which is safe and heat-resistant.
Smell: The body of the insulated cup has no irritating odor.
Touch: The inner and outer surfaces of the tank are polished evenly and uniformly, without scratches, scratches, or burrs; Smooth and consistent welding at the mouth.
Test: Inject boiling water, tighten the cup lid, and hold it for 2-3 minutes without significant temperature rise, indicating good insulation performance of the product; Inject boiling water, tighten the cup cover, and invert for 4-5 minutes without any leakage, indicating good sealing performance of the product.
In addition to the above, I would like to remind everyone:
In terms of odor, qualified insulation cups are made of food grade materials, with less odor and almost no smell after leaving the factory. So when choosing a thermos, you can also use your nose to get close and smell it, preferably by opening the bottle cap.
In terms of material, a good insulation cup has smooth and hard tentacles, and a comfortable feel. Poor quality insulated cups have thin walls and rough surfaces, resulting in a very poor feel. So experienced people only need to touch the outer surface of the cup to determine whether the insulation cup is "qualified".
