Why Don't Some Thermos Cups Have A 304 Mark?

Jun 17, 2022

First of all, the state does not stipulate that the bottom of the thermos cup must have a steel stamp of the corresponding material. It only needs to be marked on the product certificate and instructions for use.

The act of adding steel stamps is purely the behavior of the thermos cup manufacturers themselves, in order to let consumers see the material of their thermos cups at a glance during the sales process, and make their thermos cups sell better.

However, when adding this stamp to the bottom of the thermos cup, the manufacturer needs to add an additional process. For manufacturers, each additional process means a little more cost. Of course, the cost of adding steel stamps needs to be paid by consumers like us, and the unit price will increase a little bit.

Therefore, some manufacturers will not add it, but just write it on the certificate of conformity and the instruction manual. So when you buy a thermos cup, you don't need to pay attention to this, just look at the material marked on the certificate.
